This lovely mug features a manga style illustration of Napoleon's younger sister Pauline Bonaparte. Considered one of the most beautiful women in Europe, Pauline first married General Charles Leclerc in 1797. Leclerc died of yellow fever in 1802 while leading an ill-fated expedition to Haiti (Saint-Domingue). The following year she married the Italian prince Camillo Borghese.
