Napoleonic Eagle Christmas Ornament

Celebrate Christmas by hanging this Napoleonic Eagle ornament on your tree. Eagles were synonymous with Napoleon and his army. Inspired by the eagles of the Roman empire, the eagle crowned the flagpole of Napoleonic battle standards. Officers and men would make great sacrifices to prevent their eagles from being captured by the enemy. Likewise, they were immensely prestigious trophies of war for Napoleon's enemies.
