This double sided eco-friendly tote bag is sure to delight fans of Napoleon!
The front of the bag is an illustration based on Jacques-Louis David's iconic painting of Napoleon crossing the Alps in 1800 during his Second Italian Campaign. First Consul Bonaparte (as he was at the time) is shown rearing up on his horse as he makes his way through the Great St Bernard Pass.
The other side of the bag features Napoleon's coat of arms as Emperor of the French. The coat of arms has in its centre a golden eagle clutching a thunderbolt in its talons - the same eagles that adorned the standards of his regiments. One of Napoleon's many nicknames was L'Aigle (The Eagle).
The designs on this bag are made by Ibnat Ali, a freelance artist and graphic designer based in Florida. She is interested in Napoleon and his family and has a wide portfolio of Napoleonic artwork. Follow Ibnat on Instagram at @ibbytheartyr.designs. Check out her collection page here.
