This Christmas ornament is part of our manga collection of Napoleonic era generals and diplomats. The design features the German diplomat and statesman Klemens von Metternich. Foreign Minister of Austria from 1809, Metternich played a key part at the Congress of Vienna in 1814-15 establishing the post-Napoleonic European balance of power.
