This design features a cat wearing the uniform of Russian Field Marshal Mikhail Illarionovich Kutuzov. Best known as the supreme commander of the Russian army during Napoleon's invasion of 1812, Kutuzov was prone to falling asleep during meetings. He was also in his late sixties and could not mount his horse without assistance. In spite of this, he is celebrated as a wise and cunning strategist and the embodiment of the Russian army in Tolstoy's War and Peace.

I am imperially impressed with Napoleonic Impressions. Not only with the thought and professionalism of the website but at the high street quality of the merchandise. It is the shop every history fan has been wishing for.

Napoleonic Impressions comes out with the best variety of smart, fun designs backed by solid historical knowledge. I wish all museum/historic site gift shops carried products like theirs!

I was so tickled to find a store that had unique items from Napoleonic history! Prices are reasonable and the shipping was incredibly fast - I ordered a Joachim Murat pendant and a Miguel de Alava mug and they came within a week of ordering. They are both excellent quality and would highly recommend!
