Celebrate Christmas with our exclusive postcard collection. Our postcards are made from thick high-quality matte paper, serving as a great addition to a gift, or a thoughtful written note to a fellow history nerd in these difficult times.

This battle scene in the style of Russian artist Ivan Bilibin by Josh Provan features Marshal Michel Ney and Cossack Ataman Matvei Platov. It is supposed to depict Ney's fighting retreat pursued by Cossacks following the Battle of Krasny in November 1812. Cut off from the rest of the army, Ney fought through the woods and rejoined Napoleon with 800 men, earning himself the nickname 'the bravest of the brave.'
