This mug is part of our matryoshka collection inspired by Russian nesting dolls. This design features Marshal Joachim Murat, Napoleon's cavalry commander. Murat served alongside Napoleon from an early age and married his sister Caroline in 1800.

In 1807 Murat led one of the greatest cavalry charges of all time against the Russian army at the Battle of Eylau. The following year he was made King of Naples. His flamboyant style of dress earned him the nickname 'Dandy King.'
